How do I verify that I am an accredited investor?
- Investors who commit $200,000 or more to a Lightstone DIRECT offering are automatically considered accredited in accordance with SEC guidelines, and no further verification is required. For other investors, accreditation can be verified in one of the following ways:
- If you already have an accreditation letter that is less than 90 days old and signed by a licensed wealth advisor, CPA, or attorney, you may upload that directly,
- You may have your licensed wealth advisor, CPA, or attorney complete and sign an accreditation letter which verifies your status.
- If you do not have a licensed wealth advisor, CPA, or attorney who is able to provide a letter, Lightstone DIRECT partners with a secure third-party verification service that can issue a signed accreditation letter on your behalf.
